We are the Elliott's Curt and Teresa, we are a family operation, Curt, Teresa, Clyde and Polly, we have a son & daughter in law Joe and Nicole, an adopted son Drew, and several grandchildren Alexis, David Joseph, Tanya, Terri Jo, Carlee, and last but not least Goldie. We (Curt, Teresa, Polly, and Clyde ) and soon to join us in our operation our son & daughter in law Joe and Nicole and adopted son Drew; we operate on a 300 acre plus farm, with fantastic views of the sunsets, hills, rock valleys, and woods on state route 790 out behind Gallipolis, Ohio, we make our living raising and selling Boer goats and great Pyrenees guard dogs. We are Members of the International Boer Goat Association and USBGA .We have 500 plus Boer goats and seventeen great Pyrenees dogs, our goal is to have 600 plus production herd of Boer goats Nannies. We intend to kid twice yearly therefore will be having several to sell each year.
The goats are truly a delight to us and we enjoy taking care of them. I love how the baby goats are so inquisitive, they have to check out everything, they pull my hair, climb on my back, and give me kisses, you can see we spend a lot of time with the goats. We have a 250 lb Buck that gives us kisses also. As I (Teresa) spoke of earlier we had a herd of the dairy line Goats and had to sell due to cancer, after beating cancer we went back into the goat business buying Boer goats. When you've had a disease like cancer you appreciate each and every day to its fullest. The Boer goats are such a different temperament than others and are so easy to love, they have been really good and calming for me as the chemotherapy really takes it toll on your body and our Boer goats are always happy to see us no matter what. We greatly enjoy our Boer goats and enjoy having Boer goats for sale in Ohio, and hope we can assist you in your Boer goats or great Pyrenees guard dogs now and in the future.
